Apr\u00e8s une succincte p\u00e9dagogie sur le courtage, l\u2019article met en \u00e9vidence la place relative du courtage en RDC via des chiffres, les pratiques traduisant sa m\u00e9connaissance ainsi que les contraintes sur la r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration des courtiers. Des pistes de solution sont enfin propos\u00e9es pour permettre le d\u00e9veloppement rapide de cette activit\u00e9 hautement importante et cruciale pour l\u2019\u00e9panouissement du march\u00e9 des assurances congolais.<br><br><strong>Keywords: <\/strong>Assurance, Courtier en assurance, RDC<br><strong>Codes JEL : <\/strong>G22, G28<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>ABSTRACT<\/u><\/strong><br><br><em>This paper deals with two major issues that penalize the activity of insurance brokerage in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), namely, the lack of knowledge of brokerage, revealed by current practices, and the constrained level of brokers revenues, in comparison to what happens in other countries, particularly in Africa. After a brief lesson on brokerage, the paper highlights the relative place of brokerage in the DRC through figures, the practices \u2013 reflecting the invoked lack of knowledge \u2013 and the constraints on the remuneration of brokers.
